Early Education and Teaching Facilities

QOH Architects where commissioned to design two Child Care Centres for Macquarie University. The first project consisted of the design, documentation and contract administration of a new building housing child care and long day care facilities on the university’s campus.

Colours were chosen to create a bright and colourful feel to the internal spaces. Attention was also specially paid to ensure a child friendly design that had a warm and welcoming feel.

The next project involved the construction of a 0-2 year olds playground and a 3-5 year olds playground. Works included shade structures, tiered seating, new paving, timber decking and lookout, soft fall and sandpits.
